Folio is an independent, non-profit library in the heart of downtown Seattle.  Located in the historic landmark YMCA building, Folio is a hub for literary resources and civic events.  

Terra cotta detailing over the entrance beautifully tells the story of the original 1930-era space – intended as a respite for visiting military.  Our team provided pro-bono design services to update the landmarked interiors to suit contemporary events, while preserving the rich architectural details and history of this special place.  Photos here show some of the original elements, such as wrought iron air grilles and handcrafted plaster ceilings.
